The end of the adventure

It was always going to happen really, wasn't it?

Myself and mo anam cara have decided to face reality and realised that this open-ended long distance heartache is not doing anyone any good and are going to continue just as friends.

It was an amazing journey, I wouldn't change it for anything, and I'm not bitter about the way it ended. I hope we'll keep in touch, letters are a great means of communication that allow you to put so much thought into what you're saying and there's always the telephone machine and email.

Shannan, thanks for the amazing time we had together, it will never be forgotten. I hope some day we'll meet again and reminisce on what was probably the happiest period of my entire life.

Ah sure you're further away anyway. A whole extra hour. If we were to be together you'd have to Meet me in St. Louis Louis but I've already used up my holidays so that won't be any time soon. I'll keep your resume on file anyway.

You've got it backwards. I have you as a friend, therefore I see you in my friends page. It isn't automatically two-way - to see my entries, you've to add me as a friend. If you look at your info, you've only got three friends added (Kate, Amanda and Jill) - these are the only people who will appear on your friends page - but you also have 5 people who have you as a friend, but who you haven't friended.
